Poseidon's Mistress

Two weeks from today, myself and a dozen of my fellow illustrators from Drawing Book Studios will be holding an art exhibition of personal art here in Sydney, Australia. My contribution, 'Poseidon's Mistress' will also be on sale during the exhibition as a hand signed and numbered, A1 sized, limited edition giclee print.

Drawn in Photoshop on a Cintiq over a 24 hour period. 67 x 60cm (26 x 23 inches)

Hi Chris,

Thanks! Going to be a fun night. I think I stressed the DB guys out getting my file over at the 11th hour! I don't have time to scratch myself these days.

I'll have to check my posting settings. I changed them to avoid spammers but I think I locked everyone out!

Did you do one print or more? I had a few planned but alas time was against me.

Jason- Thanks mate. I appreciate it.

Craig- Yeah, just one piece. Same as you, I had planned to sell other existing works, but Matt was aiming for new works only for this exhibition.

The way I deal with spammers is I get notified of comments made, and just delete the spam straight away. It seems to be a good deterrent.

Hey Chris, Yes that sounds like a good way round spammers. Honestly they do my head in.

This should be an interesting show. I saw some of the other stuff up on the DB website, just a few entries, and they all looked pretty nice. I wish I could have got more done though. Next time!

Are you attending monday night? Marcelo and myself are going up. Get dinner, maybe go see the latest at the Art Gallery. They have some Waterhouse in there right now. I have to see those.

Nicole- Thanks!

Craig- Yeah, I'll be there Monday. Not sure how long I'll be there though as I have a deadline early next week.

Chris, nice work as usual. I can't believe how well you draw straight in Photoshop... I have not been able to pull that off.

She's a beaut! So cool the way you manage to get the look of traditionally inked work. Shows great patience.
